Put on your reddest lipstick and gladdest rags! The award-winning vocal harmony trio The Spitfire Sisters can be found singing up and down the country, on board the Belmond British Pullman and at other glamorous venues around the world. In 2011 they were brought together by their love of vintage records, but individually they have gathered inspiration from all genres of music. From Ella Fitzgerald to Destiny’s Child and back to The Boswell Sisters, these singing sisters will take you on a musical adventure through the songs they grew up loving and the genre that brought them together.

Are you ready to be transported back to the 1920’s, an era of speakeasies, prohibition and feather boas?

Guaranteed to have you shaking your tassels, with their ragtime take on some of today’s chart hits, Trip For Biscuits is a Postmodern Jukebox-inspired party band based in Bristol and available all over the South West and UK.

Ned Holland is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from the South of England. Having had success from his first single release ‘Make Things Happen’ to early live performances, gigging at venues up in London such as the Half Moon in Putney to busking in Sydney, he has already acquired a unique style, mixing that acousitc style with an alternative pop balance. Taking huge inspiration from the likes of The Beatles, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sam Fender and many others, Holland’s writing ability has already allowed him to release six singles that are proud but carefully crafted to create a ballardy and energetic sound. His debut EP ’Slow Down’ will be released in May 2022.

Hickory Moon is a four-piece string band playing American music, from Old Time, Bluegrass, Western Swing through to modern contemporary styles.  Four singers in the band leads to lots of harmony singing and a fiddle means toe-tapping dance music as well.  Band members are: Lindsey Cole – bass; Pete Minkey – mandolin and flute; James Stallard – banjo and guitar; Tim Hextall – fiddle and guitar.  After the gloom of lock-down it is wonderful to be able to get out there and perform once again.  Particularly at the fabulous Chalke Valley History Festival!

Combining fiddle with guitar or bouzouki, Ribble will play a mix of traditional and contemporary folk tunes that range from melancholic melodies to absolute foot-stomping bangers.

Ribble was formed in 2019 after a chance meeting between Adam and Pete in Salisbury. They found they shared a northern childhood (hence Ribble, a river that runs through north Lancashire) and an interest in acoustic folk music. The first performances in the back rooms of Salisbury’s finest pubs were well-received, then the pandemic forced them out into the streets where they found people were not only willing to listen, but also willing to throw money at them. This then led to slots at local festivals and events which all resulted in repeat bookings. Ribble’s reputation keeps growing and the music keeps flowing.
