Food and drink

In addition to the fine dining tent providing pre-booked lunch and suppers throughout the week, we are delighted that there will be various food and drink outlets available on-site, offering delicious, top quality local food for you to enjoy. There’s something for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten free options.

The food in the Trethowans Dining Tent is once again being provided by the superb Victoria Blashford-Snell.
Her menus for each day can be found by clicking on the relevant meal in the programme.



Wine will be provided by the Beckford Bottle Shop.
Pre-order wine and soft drinks from the bar when you arrive.

The Chalke Valley Tap – sponsored by Butcombe Brewery
– is our central bar and will be serving drinks throughout the day and evening.

The Quilter Cheviot café will be run by Alix Fauvel     

              The Aardvark Safaris Naafi café will be run by Juliet Stallwood.

The Godolphin Picnic Tent is available for shelter from hot sun or showers.

Big Bang Pizza
Delicious wood fired pizzas made in the traditional oven using epicurean ingredients from Dorset and the Cranborne Chase.

The Cracking Rib Company
Locally sourced pork ribs, marinated for 24 hours & cooked on the bone. Bone removed and meat served on a bed of white rice.


Denhay bacon rolls made with our own award winning dry cured bacon.

Dorset Lamb

Home produced from our mixed flock of ewes, delicious lamb & mint burgers with homemade salsa & mint jelly.

Fat Sam’s

Whippy ice cream and a range of traditional wrapped ice lollies.

Gilcombe Farm
We offer traditional Somerset hog roast using whole pigs cooked on spits served with homemade stuffing, apple sauce and proper crackling.

Grounded Coffee

We serve fresh coffee from our 1976 Land Rover coffee truck and Chilled Icecream  ice cream from our 1978 Bedford CF.
