All camping must be pre-booked. Camping at the weekend includes a weekend entrance ticket to the festival.


In a lush, green field, nestling below the ancient chalk downs, and just a short ten-minute walk from the main festival site, is the History Festival camp site. It is the perfect place from which to enjoy all the many features of the festival.

  • Sorry no dogs, this is a working organic sheep farm.

  • Daily bookings taken during the week.
  • Whole weekend bookings only for Friday and Saturday night.

Check-in between 11am & 6pm.

Basic facilities – loos and piping hot showers. Water available from bowser so drinking water needs to be brought.

Broad Chalke Village Shop is walking distance, selling a range of essentials. There is a communal BBQ area. Walking distance of Queens Head Pub – 1 Mile.
