“We are intricately connected with nature in ways that we don’t understand and that’s why it makes us feel better.” Ben Goldsmith talks about the importance restoring nature while giving people more access to it.
For over a decade Ben Goldsmith has been restoring the ecological health of his Somerset farm. As long-lost native species returned to their historical home, their dynamic forces and complex interactions began to repair and reshape a mosaic of habitats. Ben’s book, God Is An Octopus, describes his journey from tragedy to hope through nature, the healing power of the return of wildlife, not only to the land, but to the soul.
